1. Engine Speed Sensor

If this sensor fails when it fails, the ECU will display an error code P00160. This indicates that the Crank Shaft is not in line with the Intake Camshaft. It could also indicate a chain stretch or a jumpy chain link in the upper chain of timing. However, the error code won't appear on its own, without additional information from other sensors (G4 and G40).
It can be a bit difficult to test because there are several pins on the connector and each one has different functions. The best method for doing this is to measure the resistance between the ECU and the sensor. When the sensor is fully operational, it should be reading approximately 1000 ohms. If you're having issues with this component, look for signs of oil or coolant in the connector bay.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, as i was accelerating off the highway paytoll at a high speed I noticed a significant drop in power. It was like the engine was running out of gas. Or, my injectors were not firing. I pulled out the spark plugs this morning, three were soaked in gasoline, and the 4th was dry. I placed a tissue over each hole in the injector and when I turn the engine on without sparks, the 3 with gazoline jump right out. The fourth one remains closed. I checked the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I found 0ohm. I think the issue is in another location.
I also tried to reset the PID without success. The car is able to start if the G28 is not plugged in and runs fine when it is plugged in however it has intermittent misfire issues at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62) even when it is unplugged, shows an ice temperature of -49c. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar while the actual pressure is 0.
I'm not sure what to do. I believe that I've all other possibilities out. But i'm worried that I might have missed something. Please let me know If you have any suggestions! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
The fuel pump on the g28 is activated by a signal by the RPM sensor. The GM-style sender is identical to the G4 and they both work in the 80, 100, 200, UrS and RS2 cars which is why you can easily locate one at a salvage yard or in a local parts store.
