Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements used.

For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more marketable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or ring. This allows you to swap the item for a different one of the same type, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade gear. They don't keep the original equipment's condition and any money wasted aren't rewarded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests, or purchased from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of the equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays on the spot until the next successful result is repeated. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they display an image and description of the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's shop can exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This affects the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that can increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. They can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade their gear players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he is able to select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the durability of the item. This makes it an excellent method for players to get a significant advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank account. Moreover players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain them. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition, players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item upgrader mod with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item level upgrade has been attained.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon beside their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components cannot be stacked with one another, and can only be added to one item at one time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be added in addition to an appropriate level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left one is where players can put in a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will look like once it is at its next level. Once players have enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.

When an item reaches its maximum capacity that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will come with discounts.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to give an added bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Upgrades to items enable players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on its type, but you'll typically need Dilithium as well as a number Upgrade Tokens.

Items can be upgraded by adding item upgrades upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This will give them extra effects or an increased level of the item. These upgrades can be gotten from various sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade element is inserted into an item, it can't be removed and replaced freely, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped out without restriction.

Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the stats of an item.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases defense base and provides an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but they are not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they get an exact roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.

If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will display an open window that displays the required requirements. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the tier of that Best item upgrade as well as the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

Once you've satisfied the requirements for an upgrade, the game will place the item Upgrader Mod in your inventory and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
